Clear ceramic brackets provide aesthetically pleasing looks with some benefits of metal brackets. Ceramic brackets tend to be to larger than metal brackets, so they may feel heavier in a patient's mouth, and patients may feel more pressure as an orthodontist or an assistant works on the brackets during the treatment.
